What field service software actually costs.
Six vendors priced from their own pages on the date below — Jobber, Housecall Pro, Service Fusion, Kickserv, RazorSync, and ServiceTitan, which quotes privately. Not a comparison site that last checked in 2024. Plus the arithmetic that decides which one a real shop should buy.
Pricing analysis
ServiceTitan pricing: there is no number, so here are the eight questions that produce one
ServiceTitan doesn't publish a rate. What it quotes is a per-technician subscription plus a one-time implementation fee, and the implementation is where first-year budgets break. Here is how to normalise a quote before you sign.

All comparisons →Housecall Pro pricing: $59 buys one seat, and the tier above is cheaper than adding another
Basic is $59/mo, Essentials $149/mo and Max $299/mo on annual billing, with 1, 5 and 8 users included. At four users on annual billing, Essentials is $15/mo cheaper than adding seats to Basic. Here is the arithmetic at every headcount.
Jobber vs Housecall Pro: neither sells seats any more, and that decides it
Jobber now sells users in bands of 5, 10 and 15; Housecall Pro bundles 1, 5 and 8 by tier. At three logins that is $149 against $129 a month. At eight it reverses. Here is the cost at every headcount, and where processing changes the answer.
How this is written
A price is a fact with a date on it.
Software comparison sites are paid to list vendors and rarely revisit the numbers. The result is a page telling you Housecall Pro starts at $49 eighteen months after it didn't. This publication works the other way round: nothing is printed unless it was read on the vendor's own pricing page, and every figure carries the date it was checked.
Every figure in this table was read on the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown. We do not republish numbers from aggregators, because they are routinely months out of date, and we do not estimate a price for a vendor that quotes privately.
What we do not do
- No sponsored posts and no paid placements.
- No vendor-supplied "reviews" rewritten as our own.
- No sales calls, demos or consulting. We publish; the vendor sells.
- No estimate where a vendor won't publish a price.
